Game
developers often don't have time to edit game footage into videoclips that
are suitable for marketing pieces. Converting digital game footage to video
and editing it at a dedicated video studio is an expesive alternative that
many marketing departments often use as a last resort when deadlines hit.
Konami was in this situation when they came to us to see if we could provide
an alternative solution.
LifeLike's team was able to take the raw gameplay footage in digital format and edit it to match an in game sound track.
By avoiding expensive external studio and editor time, LifeLike was able to produce a top quality video clip at a fraction of the cost of a video post house. Utilizing an fully digital end-to-end production path, LifeLike was able to work directly with the footage and avoid tranfering to and from tape allowing the video to retain the hightest level of quality.
